Proverbs 31 (KJV)
10Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
11The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
12She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
13She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
14She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
15She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
16She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
17She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
18She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
19She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
20She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
21She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
22She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.
23Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
24She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
25Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
26She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
27She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
28Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
29Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
30Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.
31Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.
First off she is Good to her husband, and he trusts her. (I'm not married, so going to be studying to see if this applies to me respecting my father, but I'm not sure because that a daughter and a wife are very different roles.) She is also NOT wasteful! She is also creative, she makes really nice things and sells them, it talks about that a lot in this chapter. She also gets up early and feeds her family, she makes sure everybody eats well. She also is a gardener. (That kinda sucks for me because I have a black thumb! I guess I'll be working on that ;P) She is strong, it looks like she works out, I don't know if that's true or not. But hey, sounds good to me!! She is also compassionate and serves others, especially those in need. She is wise and kind. I heard wisdom comes with years, but I also heard that if you read a Proverb everyday that it will bring wisdom. She isn't idle or lazy, I'll be working on this for sure! :P Last but certainly not least she fears God. This one is super important.
Now this is for aged women, but I think I can learn from it too.
Titus 2
3The
aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness,
not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
4That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
5To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
So the older women are supposed to teach the younger women. I recommend finding (if you don't already have one) a Godly women or more then one that you can look up to and ask advice and things like that. When it says "not false accusers" I think it might be talking about gossiping, not positive thought, I do know that the bible talks about not being busy bodies, and I'm positive that is talking about gossip. So we're supposed to not drink a lot of wine, it's funny because I know it's common today that mothers drink lots of wine. Other then that this is pretty self explanatory.
1Peter 3
1Likewise,
ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not
the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of
the wives;
2While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.
3Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;
4But
let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not
corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in
the sight of God of great price.
5For
after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in
God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:
6Even
as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as
long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.
Basically we should care less about how we look and more about we act and treat others. It's the inside that really counts. FYI we are the children of Abraham and Sarah!!!!! AWESOMENESS!!!
1 Timothy 2
9In
like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with
shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls,
or costly array;
10But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
11Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
12But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
13For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
14And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
15Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
Okay so here again, it's more important what is on the inside, but it's also important to dress modestly and appropriately. I read these verses in another translation that says:
9Likewise,
the women, when they pray, should be dressed modestly and sensibly in
respectable attire, not with elaborate hairstyles and gold jewelry, or
pearls, or expensive clothes. 10Rather, they should adorn themselves with what is appropriate for women who claim to be worshipping God, namely, good deeds.
11Let a woman learn in peace, fully submitted; 12but I do not permit a woman to teach a man or exercise authority over him; rather, she is to remain at peace. 13For Adam was formed first, then Havah. 14Also it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman who, on being deceived, became involved in the transgression. 15Nevertheless,
the woman will be delivered through childbearing, provided that she
continues trusting, loving and living a holy life with modesty.

Also women are not over men, we cannot teach men, we can study with them but we are not to teach the men.
That's all for now
